Update Dec 13 - I am shocked, shocked I tell you that this package didn’t arrive by 8PM on Dec 12! Who could have guessed? Not I. Amazon sent a generic “we’re pretty sure it is still on the way!” but gave no additional details.
Thankfully, after I contacted support they o ffered to cancel the order and refund my money or give me $5 to wait it out. I accepted the former, though I probably could have got both, TBH . I’ve got a re-order on the way and a couple of the items are a few bucks cheaper so... winning?
Original Post from Dec 12:
Amazon’s B-Team C-Team is in full force. Stuff was ordered Dec-9, “shipped” Dec-11, “is arriving” Dec-12, but hasn’t actually left Amazon yet.
Sigh. I know if I call support they’ll “apologize” and tell me to wait “just a few more days.” Maybe I’ll even get an automated email about it! >_<

I got their “something must have happened” message about my dad’s gift that supposedly shipped but never seemed to have actually shipped. I gave up, canceled the order and will be braving an actual brick and mortar store to buy it.

I’d guess they’d do more than that. Normally I think they give a month of Prime for late Prime packages, and Amazon is generally pretty quick to try to make things right in general. More hit and miss with third-party sellers, but there’s a decent chance if you leave negative feedback, they’ll try to contact you about removing it. It’s really bad for third-parties to lose the buy box on products, since it will instantly cut their sales of that item 90% even if they have the lowest price, so they can be quite eager to resolve anything that might hurt their store’s ranking.

Ye, I shipped something for their trade-in program. It was delivered on Dec 6th but trade-in still shows “item not received.” kind of a drag because I was holding off on an order until that credit posted. I can imagine they must be swamped right now though.

I just came here to gripe that your plug wires are 15 bucks and a new set for my 911 is 350. Carry on.

So I ordered some BD lights for Christmas from a 4wd shop in Tx on Black Friday , Bailey was away and I found them on Amazon for a decent price .
Big suprise, they were back ordered. Didn’t look like it was going to work in time, but a info request
made things move along..
Fast forward to yesterday when I check my banking and find a charge from “A Place For Mom” seniors home in Ontario.. I call visa, cancel my cc, refute the charge, and contact A
mazon.
They
email
back
two hours later,
‘oh- that’s your lights’
Of course, so I should just expect a charge from a random place in the wrong country a month after I place the order.. perfect, will do..
So I have to call credit card company back, cancel the refute, make sure this store in Tx gets their money. Then go ahead and update all of the places that use my CC..
Should’ve waited for
Bailey.

That's been my experience as well. On the rare occasions where something has gone wrong, they've done more than any other company I've worked with to make things right
